Meet Viktória Végvári Pap: Business Support Coordinator, Rubix Hungary
Viktória first joined Rubix 12 years ago in an internal sales role, covering a colleague’s maternity leave. From the beginning she really loved the team, the environment and her tasks. “When the opportunity came up to return after my own maternity leave, I jumped at it.” Over the years, Viktória worked in customer service and internal sales before transitioning into the Business Support team three years ago. Her experience in customer facing roles gave her a strong foundation in understanding the day-to-day challenges the Rubix teams face – something she now uses to improve processes behind the scenes.
Current Role: Sales to Leadership
As a Business Support Coordinator, Viktória assists the internal Customer Support Services (CSS) team, troubleshooting issues, improving processes, and optimising their use of Rubix’s ERP systems. “I often act as a bridge between the internal team and external consultants, helping to translate user needs into actionable system changes.” “I love the problem solving aspect – each day brings something new. Whether it’s helping someone with a small task or leading a larger systems change, I enjoy making people’s workdays easier and more efficient.”
Career Highlights
One of her career highlights so far has been working on the implementation of Rubix’s ERP system, including a recent project involving a split instance rollout. This was a huge undertaking and required a deep understanding of both Rubix’s systems and team needs. Viktória worked closely with consultants and stakeholders to ensure a smooth transition and saw noticeable improvements in warehouse operations, customer service response times, and overall data accuracy. “It was a proud moment seeing how much smoother things ran afterward.”
Motivation
“What keeps me going is the variety. No two days are ever the same there’s always a new problem to solve or a new idea to develop.” Viktória also enjoys helping people learn how to use the systems more efficiently or showing them tricks to save time. “It’s incredibly rewarding to hear someone say, ‘That made my day easier’. I’ve had opportunities to really influence change here, and that sense of ownership and trust is very motivating.”
Collaboration and team building
Having started in customer-facing roles, Viktória has always valued strong communication and collaboration. In her current role, she works closely with internal sales and CSS teams to understand their challenges. She also liaises with Rubix’s IT and external ERP consultants to deliver improvements. “I adapt my communication style depending on who I’m working with, ensuring we’re always aligned.” Staying connected with frontline teams is important to her as it keeps the work grounded in real-world needs.
What’s something people might not know about you?
Viktória has recently taken up running with her husband, “It’s not something I ever thought I’d enjoy especially in the colder months – but it’s become a fun way for us to spend time together.” She is also a keen baker, especially traditional Hungarian desserts. Her specialties are Túró Rudi cake and Zserbo, a layered walnut and apricot pastry her family always have at Christmas. “I’m constantly trying to improve my cooking skills; it’s a work in progress, but a delicious one!”
