Timo joined Rubix as Head of Logistics in Germany after four years with Amazon, where he developed a strong operational mindset and customer-first approach. Interestingly, while the Rubix distribution centre was located in his hometown, it wasn’t until being approached by a head-hunter that he truly discovered the business and its potential.

From the outset, Timo was motivated by the opportunity to make a tangible impact. When he joined, logistics in Germany faced significant challenges, but he embraced this as a turning point – setting ambitious expectations early on and holding himself accountable to deliver meaningful change. His drive to raise standards and rebuild confidence in logistics quickly became a defining feature of his leadership.

Six months into his role, Timo expanded his responsibilities by taking ownership of a department that had previously been underdeveloped and lacked strategic focus, successfully transforming it into a more competitive and customer-oriented operation despite strong market pressure from established players. By reshaping its commercial approach and championing its value to customers, he successfully transformed it into a growing part of the business – scaling the team significantly and increasing revenue.

Expanding Impact Beyond Logistics

For Timo, Rubix has been a pivotal step in his career. The role has allowed him to move beyond pure logistics into a broader operational and commercial perspective, combining supply chain leadership with sales responsibility. This holistic view has strengthened his ability to lead with both customer impact and business performance in mind.

Outside of work, Timo prioritises time with his family. With three children and a busy role, he values the quieter moments – whether that’s spending time in the garden or enjoying a rare peaceful breakfast.
