Petr joined Rubix straight after finishing high school, stepping into a newly created Digital Specialist role in the Czech Republic. Introduced to the opportunity through a former colleague, he entered the business at a time when the position was still being defined locally – bringing both challenge and opportunity from day one.

Driving Digital Change Through Ownership & Innovation

With a natural aptitude for logical thinking and prior experience working with people through part-time roles, Petr quickly adapted to the demands of the position. While the role itself has remained the same in title, its scope has evolved significantly. As the sole specialist in this field within the country, Petr has played a key role in shaping how digital initiatives are implemented – taking ownership of projects, introducing new processes and continuously building the function from the ground up.

Earning Recognition: From Contributor to Trusted Voice

A defining moment in his journey came when his contributions began to be recognised at a management level. Being invited into strategic discussions and having his input valued alongside senior colleagues marked a turning point – reinforcing both his impact and his place within the wider business.
What sets Petr’s experience apart is the level of autonomy he has in his role. Looking Forward: Leadership, Growth & New Challenges

Looking ahead, Petr aspires to move into a Digital Manager role, building on his current responsibilities while taking on a more formal leadership position. Having already established himself as a key voice within the business, this next step represents a natural progression.
His advice to those starting out is simple: don’t be afraid. Embrace new challenges, trust your own way of thinking and bring a fresh perspective – especially in an environment where innovation and new ideas are valued.
Outside of work, Petr enjoys mountain biking and gaming, as well as playing the electric guitar – balancing his technical interests with active and creative pursuits.
