From local business to international strategic operations

Andrea’s journey began in 2017 with Fluidmec, a long-established Italian business later acquired by Rubix. Joining as an intern during his final year at university, he built a strong foundation in finance – supporting accounting processes, managing invoices and developing a clear understanding of day-to-day operations.

The transition to Rubix in 2019 marked a turning point. Moving from a family-run organisation into a global group pushed Andrea to shift from a task-focused role to a more analytical and strategic mindset – a change that continues to shape his approach today.

He progressed through roles, securing numerous promotions in quick succession, including Accounting Specialist and Reporting & Integration Specialist before becoming FP&A Manager for Italy. A key milestone was his move to Bergamo, where he supported the integration of multiple businesses into the Rubix structure.

Expanding expertise beyond borders

Andrea has led and supported several merger and integration projects across Italy, helping to standardise processes and align operations. International collaboration, particularly with the Benelux team, has further broadened his technical expertise and strengthened his ability to work across functions and geographies.

Strong mentorship has also played an important role in his development, supporting his growth from early career stages through to his current position.

Looking to the future

Today, Andrea finds the greatest reward in seeing the impact of his work. Through analysis and reporting, he contributes to the insights that guide strategic decision-making and shape business performance at a country level.

Looking ahead, he is focused on continuing to grow in his role and building on the trust placed in him by the management team.

Outside of work, Andrea enjoys football and spending time restoring and riding his vintage Vespa.
