As part of the Group’s growth strategy, Rubix has acquired French industrial distributor and hydraulics specialist, Thomé.
Founded in 1947 and headquartered in Manom, the business today has 44 employees and generates more than €17m in annual sales.
Thomé’s industrial supplies business strengthens the Rubix footprint in north-east France, providing extended coverage to customers with a presence in the region.
The specialist hydraulics business complements and builds on the existing category expertise with 25 dedicated professionals joining the business through the transaction.
Initially the business will carry an endorser logo, confirming that the business is now a Rubix company, but will be fully integrated into the Rubix brand and operations over time.
Commenting on the acquisition, Rubix France CEO Alexandre Labasse said: “I’m delighted to welcome my new colleagues to the Group. We pride ourselves on our specialist knowledge, and on our ability to apply it on the factory floor wherever our customers need us.
