As part of the Group’s network development strategy Rubix has acquired Kugellager Leitner GmbH, a specialist power transmission distributor based in north-west Austria.
The acquisition enables Rubix to better support existing customers, whether they are strong national players or larger international businesses with a presence in the country.
Founded in the 1960s, the business is located in Amstetten, near Linz, Austria’s industrial heartland. An authorised distributor of Schaeffler and NTN, Kugellager Leitner today has 10 employees and generates over €4m in annual sales.
The business will be immediately integrated into the Rubix network, forming part of the south region for Rubix DACH and reporting to Christoph Pischel, Cluster Leader Rubix Austria.
